53 International Placements for Nursing Graduates with Saudi Healthcare Institutions, Mega Job Fair Organized by University of Kashmir

SRINAGAR, J&K – November 15, 2025 – The University of Kashmir (UoK) successfully concluded a significant international recruitment drive, resulting in the placement of 53 female nursing graduates with Specialised Medical Company (SMC) Hospitals in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The two-day Mega Placement Drive, organized by UoK’s Centre for Career Counselling, Coaching and Placement (CCCP) and Institute of Nursing South Campus in partnership with M/s Smart Resourcing International, witnessed enthusiastic participation of 310 aspirants.

The valedictory session was graced by senior University leadership and the visiting Saudi delegation. Prof. Sharifuddin Peerzada, Dean Academic Affairs, distributed the official offer letters to the selected candidates, underscoring the institution’s commitment to facilitating global careers. Other key dignitaries present included worthy Registrar Prof. Naseer Iqbal, Director, CCCP Prof. Nazir Ahmad, Director, South Campus, Prof. Wasim Bari.

The selected candidates received offer letters for attractive employment packages, including tax-free salaries, accommodation, and travel benefits.
